Episode seven went beyond making up for episode five. Probably one of the best films I've seen, ever, animated or otherwise. The only film on the horizon (again, animated or otherwise) that may very well top it is Unlimited Blade Works. I kind of hope gg will sub it.
Update on my end. Things have been relatively paper-free, and the only piece of paper I'm really wanting to cross my desk is my W-2. I want my interest-free loan back as soon as possible, and I'll be likely kissing my last debt goodbye around the same time. 2009 is over, and in many ways I say good riddance. The only thing I feel I accomplished was significant at least, clearing the majority of my debt with a fairly meager salary. But it put me on track to start 2010 in much better shape than I did the previous year. The job hunt is still active, though the turn of the year has not opened any new leads. I think I chased down the last lead I had in November, and nothing apart from rumors have come along since and most of them have since been put to rest. Always talk of potential hirings in my objective field, but all too often they wind up as "campaign promises," sometimes literally. The price you pay with a government job, but then the government has successfully cornered the market in the firefighting field. Remaining as optimistic as I can manage and still on the lookout. This part of the country hasn't been hit as hard as some, but harder than others, so another cross-country move is still a possibility.
Apart from that, I still have a job, regardless of the pay, and my truck is still running. I won't settle for that, but I won't complain either.
I have to finish your signature, dear. Call it what you will, but with my Winamp shuffling some 1000+ songs, that one started playing as I was ending this post:
mada minu sekai no
